Mission Statement
Bergman Shooting Sports promote and develops the ideals of responsibility, hard work, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fellowship within a safe and positive environment. The individual growth of our children is enhanced through the spirit of competition, discipline and fair play. These goals will be accomplished by providing structured programs designed to educate both participants and parents in all aspects of the sport. Bergman Shooting Sport is committed to providing youth programs, that maintain the highest standards and guarantees a fun, positive experience for everyone involved.

Bergman Shooting Sports llc is a 501c3 Non Profit Organization based in Bergman, Arkansas. Both programs are supported by the Bergman School District. Bergman Shooting Sports promotes, instills, and educates the shooting disciplines of International Target Archery and International Trap shooting (shotgun).

Bergman Shooting Sports (BSS) cooperates with, and recognizes the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission as Program Sponsors.

Bergman Trap club began in the Spring of 2008. Introduction to this sport was highly anticipated and has been a massive success within the student population. Since inception, Bergman Teams have competed in multiple tournaments and has placed 1st & 2nd in the Regional and State AYSSP Tournaments/competitions. (Safety fact: 298 students, almost 200,000 arrows fired, zero accidents)!

Archery Club began in the Fall of 2009. With original participation of 68 High School students, the program soon took on the Middle School, making the first year total student participation @ 213. Since then the program averages over 200 students participating per school year, with 3 divisions ranging from 4th thru 12th grades. Elementary (4-5), Middle (6-8) & High School (9-12). Competing in one of the Strongest Regions in our State, the teams continue to have great success in all Local, Regional & State Tournaments.
Bergman High School Archery also help set a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Indoor Archery Tournament in 2013 Louisville, KY.
